Happy Cake had its origins at Kemoo Farm Restaurant, founded 1916 in the small pineapple farming community of Wahiawa in central Oahu, the "Pineapple Capital of the World'. We receive and do our mailing at Kunia, a true rural plantation community near Wahiawa. The cake was prepared for restaurant guests who wanted to take a genuine taste of Hawaii to friends back home. Happy Cake has since become an international favorite. Happy Cake is made today, as it was then, with lots of delectable Macadamia Nuts, choice Maui pineapple chunks, and tropical coconut.
